ISO Creator – Create ISO Files from Folders & Files in Ubuntu at Right Click
In Ubuntu, we have so many of utilities to create ISO disk images of CDs and DVDs. But if you want to create ISO disk images from files and folders, you can use ISO Creator.
ISO Creator is a simple script that creates ISO disk images from directories and files by using the built in optical disk image utilities. It is a front end for all of those built in command line optical disk image utilities . Once you install it , you can easily create ISO files form any folder and files from the right click context menu.
You can download the script from the link given at the end of the post. Note that, on clicking the download link, the script gets opened in the running web browser. In order to download it , copy the whole text from the browser and paste it into a new text file using Gedit text editor. Then, save it under the name of ISO Creator.
Once you download the script , open the Home folder and press CTRL + H key combination to show the hidden files and folders in Nautilus.Then, navigate to .gnome2 -> nautilus-scripts and copy and paste the script in the folder.
Now , right-click the script and click on Properties. Under Permissions tab, click on Allow executing file as program to make the script working.
Once you are done, right click on the folder or file of which ISO disk image you want to create. Then, click on Scripts -> ISO Creator.

After that, ISO files are created from the selected folder or file.

In this way , you can easily create ISO disk images from any folder of file in Ubuntu at right click with ISO creator.
